I love to read books where the characters have true-to-life experiences! I didn't want to put this book down! I can't wait to read my next book by her.
If you've read one Amanda Egan books, you've read them all. If, like me, you liked the first Amanda Egan book you read, then you'll like this one, too.
Having throroughly enjoyed all of Amanda's previous work I was excited to download this one. Picked up and read at every opportunity and really enjoyed the realness of the situation. Identifiable and believable characters, I loved this one too.
Very predictable. Fluff
There are more surprises in a Cracker Jack box than in Lottie's Luck. It is very predictable and the story is ploddingly slow. I loved the author's Mummy Misfit and sequel, but this falls way short of these two clever novels. It is not a bad read, but just lacking substance and depth.
I have to admit, I laughed aloud at the description of the hen party outfits.
I enjoyed this book, the first I have read of this author. I like that she addresses the reader, interesting twist. I did not give this book 5 stars because its a bit draggy in places and Lotti's indecisions can be a tad frustrating, you want to give her a good shake, and a lot that happens in the relationships would never happen in real life but then again this is fiction. The ending is obvious throughout but takes some twists and turns along the way to try and throw you off. Overall worth the read and I will try another book from Amanda.
