I truly cannot say enough good things about this little novelette. It completely surpasses all the clichés you're sick of and creates a messy, almost desperate relationship that you can't pull yourself away from reading. It's so refreshing to see characters so raw in terms of topics that many seem to shy away from in everyday life. And even when Skye and Rosemary do confront these personal conflicts, it's not being unrealistically solved within a page and a half of therapeutic sounding conversations. I personally really appreciated that this story wasn't really about the journey of becoming a better person but the hard frontier you have to get past before coming to personal revelations. The story is dark and vulgar but perfectly sarcastic and forgiving at the same time. It just works, almost every aspect of it. This story would also make an incredible short film, just as a side note. There are so many great visuals and descriptions that just bring the words to life so perfectly. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you can't stand anymore Nicholas Sparks novels, and I hope the incredibly talented author continues to write more pieces with the same kind of tone and genre.Product details

Words cannot describe how good this book is. Well worth the cost and time to read.
It was amazing and honest. You can relate to it in the best and worst ways, seeing the feelings that you don't want to admit you have and knowing that you aren't alone in it.
